How a Project Runs, Start to Finish
- A phone call or site visit to understand the space, the look you are after, and the budget you are working to. Estimates are free.
- Measure and template. Precise field measurements taken from the finished surface — tile, stone or drywall — not from plans. Out-of-plumb walls are normal in older homes; they get measured for, not argued with.
- Glass and hardware selection. Glass type, thickness, edgework, pattern or colour, and hardware finish are chosen together. You see the options before anything is ordered.
- Your glass is cut, edged, tempered and drilled to the template. Because each piece is made to order, fabrication rather than scheduling is usually what sets the lead time.
- Panels are set, hardware fitted, and everything sealed and checked for operation and clearance.
- Walkthrough and care. You get a walkthrough of the finished work and straightforward advice on cleaning and maintenance — which, with glass, is most of what determines how it looks in five years.

Louisiana’s climate is hard on bathrooms. High humidity most of the year means moisture lingers, and hard water across much of the Baton Rouge supply leaves mineral deposits that etch untreated glass over time. Because every piece is cut and tempered to order, the lead time is driven by fabrication rather than scheduling. A realistic window is given at the time of quoting, once the configuration and glass type are settled. Simple mirror and replacement glass work turns around faster than a custom frameless enclosure.
Framed is the most budget-friendly and easiest to maintain in a rental. Semi-frameless is a middle ground on cost with a cleaner look than framed. Frameless costs the most but has the fewest tracks and crevices to clean, and generally adds the most to resale value in a primary bathroom.
Yes. A large share of the work comes in through renovation projects, and the glass is coordinated around the rest of the trades — particularly tile, which has to be finished before an accurate template can be taken.
Cloudiness is usually mineral scale etched into the surface of the glass by hard water, not dirt. Light etching can sometimes be polished out; deeper etching is permanent, and the panel needs replacing. Either way, the fix going forward is a protective coating plus routine squeegeeing, and it is worth having the glass looked at before spending money on products that will not touch it.
